Reading the results
Combined fuel economy is total fuel divided by total distance, shown in L/100km.
US MPG and UK MPG are the same figure converted to imperial measures (the US and UK gallons differ).
Fuel cost per 100 km and total fuel cost use the price you entered.
Lower L/100km and higher MPG both mean better fuel economy.
Tips
For the most accurate figure, use the same pump and fill the tank to the same level each time, and note the trip distance or odometer difference between fills.
